The RT9712BGS is a power-distribution switch. It is designed to fulfill the applications in heavy capacitive loads and short circuit situations. The RT9712BGS incorporates two 90mΩ NMOSFET power switches to fit power distribution systems requiring multiple power switches in a single package. During switching process, an internal charge pump is designed to provide the gate drive for the purpose of power switch rise times and fall times controlling to minimize the current surges. The charge pump can operate in supply voltage as low as 2.7V and needs no external components. The applications of the RT9712BGS include USB Peripherals and Notebook PCs.
